Tried it blind, guessed Spanish wine but couldn't figure out what the grape was. And of course, it's a blend. So I feel pretty good about my abilities. Guessed $20-30 range, and it was $15. Pleasantly surprised with that one. Lots of acidity. You could even shelf this bright young thing for a bit.

Similar to something from the left bank. Smoke, violets, underbrush, pencil shavings, and gripping tannins. A full dose of blackberry fruit comes through on the mid-palate.

There is a metallic aroma (think tin) that's in the mouth as well. Can't get past that. Not for me. LB
