Fun, funky, fruity. Give some decant time.

Best Pais I’ve had, no doubt. Super interesting. Def Chile btw and not from Spain.

Mostly everything I want in a Pais, light bodied with animal fat, cherry, cassis, minty herbs.

Iron, sanguine, pepper, game, leather, earthy black berries, cassis, and blueberries. Good structure. Medium plus body.

This was a nice surprise. Delectable has it in Spain, but it is middle of Chile. Cannot believe this is just $23?! 8 years old, 200-year-old single vineyard in Maule. Unreal. Almonds and fresh herbs with a wonderful balance. Has a wild, untamed feel to it. Exciting!

Favorite of the 3. Potpourri, wild berries, crazy herbaceous/tones, and deep range of flavors and textures. Structurally this wine is a beast and reminded me of Amarone. So much alcohol and massive tannins that are just barely held together by acidity. 200 year old vines? Absolutely nuts. Hard to call delicious but so intriguing. These wines hit your tongue and just go every which way possible. They really run a large gambit of fruit, non-fruit, in- and organic earth profiles all at once. Very interesting but hard to wrap your head around them.

delectable says it’s from Spain, but it’s from Chile. i should been suspicious when i read the back label saying that the wine is packed in “eco friendly packaging”. ahh...marketing. raisin, hit and baked. not my thing.

As good as it gets at this price point. Smells and upfront taste is like mango, but finishes with plum, funky, medium body and medium tannins
