Rich, intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, black olive, tapenade, mint, baking spice, vanilla, cedar, dried violet, leather and earth. Great finesse with plenty of tannin that is silky and polished. The alcohol is well balanced with the pronounced flavors a lovely wine.

A blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot from Maipo Alto that spent 22 months in French barrels, 80% new and 10% in casks. This was a cold year, making for the ideal ripeness. The delicate, seductive nose combines raspberry with young blackcurrant, herb and mint. Well-balanced, it presents a smooth texture and a powerful flavor juicy on the tongue with just a hint of pyrazine that underlines the smoky finish. A serious wine. On the nose this is black current, blackberry, really black I think... Perfectly cured tobacco... On the palate, this is special... That black fruit is accompanied with precise cherry, cedar, some pepper? It's the tannin that ties this all together though. The softness is unreal. While I tasted this just with some bread, I kept getting the feeling that beef broth or gravy would pop brightly when paired with this wine. The length here was very long and kept bright for several minutes after the last sip. Elegant and outstanding.

Beautiful nose with black berries, bay leaf and coffee. In the mouth silky with a lot of fruit and almondpaste. Paired it with a perfectly prepared cote du boeuff.
