Vintage 2004 | popped and poured, perhaps it needs more aeration, the nose seems too old, a bit stinky. The taste is 100% correct and very compelling. Paired with filet.

Vintage 2012 | Solid!

Rich, intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, black olive, tapenade, mint, baking spice, vanilla, cedar, dried violet, leather and earth. Great finesse with plenty of tannin that is silky and polished. The alcohol is well balanced with the pronounced flavors a lovely wine.

A blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot from Maipo Alto that spent 22 months in French barrels, 80% new and 10% in casks. This was a cold year, making for the ideal ripeness. The delicate, seductive nose combines raspberry with young blackcurrant, herb and mint. Well-balanced, it presents a smooth texture and a powerful flavor juicy on the tongue with just a hint of pyrazine that underlines the smoky finish. A serious wine. Similar herbal and green pepper notes, though this has more complexity and texture.

Sexy Cabernet Sauvignon. Muscular but elegant at the same time. Really great wine. We’ll made and kind of perfect.

Proper crowd pleaser and very moorish...kept reaching for the glass. Cherries and strong tannins. Would recommend

Nog een paar jaar laten liggen. Al wel zacht, maar in de afdronk nog te iets veel tannines. Fruitig.
