Med. Ruby; nose of strawberry, blueberry w/ subtle spice and violets; supple and lively ripe berry fruits on palate with nice spice and tea notes in a lingering finish. Any domestic pinots at this price ($13) are flabby and overdone or thin, but this German PN is lively and delicious! A case purchase!

Light with tart red berries & a hint of vanilla, spice. Not quite as bold as the CA Pinots I've tasted but also not what I expected from a place more known for their white wines.

Strawberries cranberries and dusty leather on the nose. Big sour wild berries. Nice floral. Rose petals. Not much in the way of earthy flavors. Vary drinkable. Lovely on a hot day.
