This isn't just any Chianti.
Quite a serious wine.
Exuberant, fresh and fleshy.
This will definitely benefit from some years in bottle.
Benchmark of the serious wine is the blood orange scent in chianti.
Try hard not to open this.
Problem is that is already delicious.
2019 very good vintage.

Needed some time to open up at 7 years old. Ruby color with a spicy and rich flavor. Does pair up well with a variety of red meat. Drank in September 2024.

Medium ruby in color; cherries and pomegranates on the nose; high acidity, medium and smooth tannins; tastes like sour cherries and raspberries with a long finish. Bright and crisp red fruit flavors.

Decent QPR #chianticlassico - Deep magenta-purple hue in glass. Uncorks pretty tight but scent evolves nicely in wine fridge over a few days. Mellow dry cherry, leather, tilled earth aromas. Medium-body, laid back dark fruit taste, toasted oak and some grippy tannins finishing with lithe acidity. Not too bad for ~$10 at Costco though I might prefer more fruit + acidity for creamy pasta pairings.
