Oak Aged Toscana IGT SuperTuscan Blend

Vintage 2012 - a bit old fashioned farmerstyle wine with the smell of a cedar cigarbox and stable, roundness in taste. Real sangiovese smell, so true to type. Paired it with a stew from the oven.

Definitely oaky, but it pairs well with a spicy red sauce

Fruity, slightly dry mid, smooth dried fruit finish.

Plums, damp earth, grape pop. Maybe some cough syrup even. Really great value

On the smoky side for Tuscan. Great acid. Smooth tannins with cooked down caramel notes. More terroir than fruit. Nice light red fruit character. Grilled brick chicken was the pairing.

Super Tuscan! Weird nose but the bottle was empty very quickly after opening. Decant!
