Light nose of red cherry and a touch of earth. Flavors of sweet and sour red cherries with some light leathery notes. Fairly simple and a little bit too fruit forward for my tastes, although many would enjoy this. A simple everyday drinker, though lacking a little depth and complexity.
I think JS went 92 pts on this (What?!) I don't understand this but definitely cannot complain at the $8 price point (Costco). A good value simple italian red.

Big, full, tobacco, heavy...1st night in a while i had smelled a fire going at a neighbors house, 'twas a little chilly out...this wine did not disappoint.

First sip was awful. An hour later it's actually good. Shouldn't have to let a wine with a plastic cork breath for an hour to enjoy it. What am I gonna tell my customers who just want a quick spaghetti meatballs and go? Lol. I'll have to re-assess at a later date.
