Zolla Primitivo di Manduria

7th from a thorough south and center 🇮🇹 wine tasting hosted by a small importer.
most were from fantini.
short notes i wrote:

mostly spices again.
deep and complex. harmonious.
trace of bold ripe red fruit and spices 👄

Grabbed this from my ‘use for cooking’-shelf and tried a glass while I was stirring.
Actually, this was quite nice. Great dark fruit, Good amount of oak, some rocky/spicy/volcanic seasonings.
A very good daily drinker!
