Is your tobacco aging barn getting a new asphalt shingle roof? I know about it from the smell down the street.

Jan 5th, 2016I just recently purchased this Bordeaux knowing that it is a lesser Bordeaux and just to try the 2011 vintage. I purchased as an end of bin sale for $9.99. It has lived up to that price tag. On the nose I get black cherry, blackberry, black currant, and a definite campfire smokeyness. On my palate I can taste plum, blackberry, black currant, charcoal with firm drying tannins, weak acidity and medium finish.

May 18th, 2015Considering price ($11 at Costco), one of the best wines I've had recently. Smells like a $40 bottle and tastes like it too.

Mar 4th, 2015Really impressive. Nice berry-like flavors with espresso and cocoa notes. Better than you think - close your eyes and it's remarkably like a classed growth.
