Very drinkable Portuguese red blend. Bloody red crystal color, light stable animal notes & ripe red berries nose, tastes juicy/fruity but with addition of refreshing acidity, so overall feeling is light body without boring sweet compote feeling. I enjoyed with pasta, but seems to be good companion to all meat dishes, and ...what a Label :). Saúde!

A wine with a misleading name, that is: I found it on a shelf with portwine. The wine has a spicy smell and a comforting warm taste. Paired with a meatloaf with egg in it and celery and raisins with baked potatoes. Uncomplicated Vinho Regional Lisboa.
