A fresh & hypnotic nose of florals, apricots and apples intertwined with some citrus. A structured but open palate that packs much flavor. Was hoping for a more extended finish.

Tight and wiry. I really wish I could taste this in 5 years.

Midas could have left it in the cellar for another 25 years but oops we drunk it already.

Pale yellow. Nose-apple, pear and stone. Palate-green apple, flowers, minerals and bitter almond. High acidity.Structured, well balanced. Good finish emphasizing the bitter almond. Superior stuff will reward aging. 4*

What a disappointment. I had been saving this guy for the right moment and it did not deliver. The nose was overwhelmingly petrol. If you tried very hard you could discern wet slate & lemon rind in the background. Overall a very big letdown. This was the first of two. Maybe I’ll have better luck with the next.

Had it last night at RN74. Unique and characteristic. Highly aromatic, off-dry with bright acid.
