Best bottle of bubbles of the weekend. The first vintage of this cuvée blends orange zest , cranberry ,mineral with some toffee and brioche notes .

First vintage of Grand Dame rose and its a beauty!

Wow! Beautifully aged LGD Rose. Still fresh but can taste a little of the nuttiness and toasty notes that the age has produced. What a way to start the night. Happy birthday to me!

Great bottle to share on our wedding anniversary. Mushroom on the nose, apricot on the palate. Lovely.

Raspberry and pomegranate. The freshness at almost 30 years is amazing. Had with gravlax in beggar’s purses. Great pairing. I am told 88 was the first LGD Rose. I have more.

One of the best 1988s. Not Krug or DR, but stellar. Some oxy, but not off putting. Strong structure and acidity.
