Jan 4th, 2021A lovely, pretty and effervescent Champagne. Slightly towards the sweeter side of things with cherries, strawberries and a lovely fragrance. Beautiful.

Dec 28th, 2019Champagne lunch day! Micro bubbles, taste of strawberry and pink grapefruit. Sort of a copper orange color. A blend of different grapes.
Acidity and fruit nicely balanced. I've always enjoyed the yellow label brut, so I had to try the rose'.
Paired with chicken marsala.
Product of France. 12.5% abv.

Opened the day before and it’s killer today. So rich and the Pinot Noir takes center stage...in the house style. This is a great NV Rosé and a good second choice to Billcart-Salmon’s Rosé which is still top as far as NV Rosés are concerned.

Mar 17th, 2019I’ve avoided this Rosé Champagne from Veuve Clicquot like the plague. However, time to try it.
It’s classic Rosé style but, light all the way around. It’s quaffable but, at this price point, I’m not giving up my BSR, Ruinart, Drappier etc.. There simply is no wow factor here. For me, all of their cuvées just don’t deliver the quality like other producers in and around their price points.
However, they have a beautiful property and amazing caves.

Very consistent rosé, love the chalky fruit.
Pictures of the grounds and tasting area graphics. They were closed/booked for tours, so we had to manage having glasses on their patio on a beautiful afternoon.

Annual Big Taste of Fort Worth was last night. Huge selection of wines, but I’m just highlighting my favorites.
Never had their rosé before...delicious! This sucker is crisp and dialed in on the palate. Lots of rhubarb tart, Fuji apple, fleshy red fruit with a wonderful acidic finish. This will age nicely. It also paired beautifully with crisp quail legs!
