Really nice. Very well balanced.

Very acidic at first but opened up well. Good paired with a burger

Ripe plums with some herbal notes . Threw it in a snow bank for half an hour. Groovy wine

Last had the 2018 vintage, this was typical of Right Bank Merlot: classic black fruit w/pleasant herbal undertones, some licorice. Precisely balanced & generous, enough tannins to pair w/ribeye. There is some good value in Friuli reds

Atypical Merlot: still jet black & inky sporting plum & blackberry notes, some bell pepper, earthy aromas, but not overdone. Med weight, gentle tannic grip, a certain freshness, flavorful w/black fruit flavors. Love reds from Friuli

Great affordable merlot from Italy! Doesn't show much in the beginning but give it 10 minutes and you can easily get lost in a bottle all to yourself.
