Cherry fruit and nice minerality; mellowed nicely over two days. Very smooth with savory complexity. Drank it with brisket, and it complemented perfectly.

Solid Chianti. Still a bit tart and lean. I expect it will improve with time.

Classic chianti. Strawberry and cherry. Bright acidity. Great with pasta.

Wall of tannin that never completely resided over two days. Eucalyptus on the nose with a faint hint of bright cherry dominated by spice with pleasing acid, begging for food. Finishes off with that coarse tannic grip and metallic overtones. Perhaps this will integrate with a few more years in bottle.
