Super time. Wine took second place to the company.
Pure grassy notes on the nose. Nice green apple on the palate. Nice soft oak, with subtle hints of gooseberries. Really nice.

Typical Vasse elegance in this new (to me!) Chardonnay cuvée, but lots of rich fruit too. Retains that lovely, Burgundian seam of savoury which all good Margaret River Chardonnays should have.

This was dark golden w/extroverted nose of tropical & orchard fruit, and massive wall of vanillin oak. Huge on palate, this probably started out big but w/age it took in monstrous dimensions. Lumbering layers of orange, apricot, coconut, lime, minerals & hint of salty salinity. Tropical too - this shows w/good material you can get some impressive longevity.
