Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Another weekly wine Committee lunch that I was able to attend, hosted by @Weston Eidson & @Colby Siratt . Excellent job, fellas! All wines tasted blind as usual.

I can probably count on one hand how many Sangiovese type wines I've had, so this was nice to try. This seems to be hitting a peak drinking window that will be open for a while. Lots of leather and charred black cherries.

Just starting to unwind and will clearly live up to its potential. Not orphodox, but classically styled.

Takes a solid day to unwind; the resulting wine is formidable yet vibrant. Beckons for rib-eye.
