Wasn’t sure this would still be singing, but how can one doubt Jim and Bob?? Creamy, rich, long, washed down some wild salmon beautifully. Not an ersatz White Burg; but a classical Santa Cruz Mtns. Chardonnay.

This is the best I've tasted from California - has a rich Meursault signature - needs a little time

Nice bright lemon color... but packing both real weight and acidity. Ripe juicy pear and red apple with a touch of richness, butter, toast...13.7 ABV... the wine has knit itself into a round, complex whole of its parts. A touch too new world for some, and too dry and old world for others. I admire the winemaking restraint and the complex fruit from the highly regarded vineyard. Nice dinner companion.

Still some oak on the nose. Nice fruit on the palate but not too much. Mild pineapple. Good acidity. Some heat peeking out (14%) but not too much. Most people wouldn’t notice it. All in all not bad. You can do better in burgundy for fifty bucks but This is nice. ... more fruit after a few days open.
