Classic Valdicava nose and perfume. It’s always unmistakable. Outside of that, wine was really smooth and tannins were integrated well but not a ton of other fruit here. Good wine but only worth it because I got a deal on it

The nose immediately indicated age to me. There is definitely some soil in the nose. This is a wine that in my opinion Ken would love but is not for me. I now know that this wine was heavily contaminated with "brett". Should have sent it back. Not for me.
