Medium deep ruby still with medium wide garnet rim . Slightly oaky nose at first , then spiced degraded red fruit , touch of truffle , black tea , orange rind, dried herbs . Quite concentrated and high toned red cherry , with refreshing acidity and raspy noticeable tannins . Quite long and complex on the finish, with herbal , cacau and cranberry touches . This is at peak right now though absolutely no rush , improved and became more expressive over the 3 hours we enjoyed it , with a brief double decant to start; to drink over the next 5-8 years.
