Needs to breath for a bit to leverage all flavors to full extent. Cherry and black berries, by no means juicy though. Strong acidity and full body. Elegant and full at once.

2015 vintage for $40. Still taking a little time to open up in 2013, better after several hours, even the next day. Balanced, nothing really stood out

Orange garnet in color. Cranberry, stewed strawberry, and cassis on the mid palate and black licorice on the finish. Initially tart, but matures with time and aeration. Balances out in the end.

Anything would probably be good in Florence, but this would be great anywhere.
