Beautiful bouquet. Berries. Balanced tannins--slightly dry, not overpowering. Medium acidity. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Very nice and highly drinkable alone.

1996 Preston Vyd. Cork disintegrated upon removal. Fruit still shows on nose. Red currant and dark cherry are noticeable on palate alongside vanilla, clove, and still present are above average tannin and acidity.
