Gamay like in profile but with an additional spicyness that makes it quite interesting.

Great combination of fruit, soil, and minerals. Good complexity for the price. Great value.

Riecht besser als er schmeckt, daher geschmacklich eher enttäuschend

Drank this one right after the last glass Wachter Wieslers bela joska Eisenberg 2013. Man it is really quite the same. Must be the terroir, slightly different but i cant describe that :). Really earthy, grippingly mineralic, dark cherry paired with flashy red sour cranberry, peppery. I love Blaufränkisch and Eisenbergs geological preferences, dont know what it is exactly, but its good. Biodynamic handcare. Great elegant and complex stuff for this price segment. Uwe Schiefer had some bad luck in late times. So drink his god damn good wines!

Considerable smokiness and spice upfront. Very well balanced with some tannin on the finish.
