You prepare for the sweetness,
It never comes but the flavour never leaves.

Nebbiolo Rosé on the savoury beautiful side. Unico Zelo can do no wrong in my eyes.

Monday nights are so much better when you do it #thetcwineclub style. Trust me. This bottle of vibrant 2017 rosé is made by Unico Zelo in the Clare Valley (South Australia) and is aptly named ‘Berry Blossom’.

Some fun facts:
- Unico Zelo roughly translates to Unique Zeal / Energy
- This rosé is a blend of Dolcetto from the Polish Hill River Region in the Clare Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Adelaide Hills

So what’s it like?

On the eye it’s a stunning blood orange sunset colour. The nose is full of sweet red fruits with some baking spice and toasted citrus. In the mouth it’s very refreshing. It’s slightly savoury in flavour with a sweet and sour cherry tang. It’s a dry rosé with an A+ personality.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #sample #tcweekdaywine
