Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese
Tasted over dinner with winemaker. Lush style of Brunello but plenty of acid to balance. Worth finding

Jul 28th, 2014Wow...! What a beautiful wine...:
Grilled vegetables, truffled aligot, panseared steak, seasoning of cinnamon-fennel-Marsala...
Surprisingly, all these nuances where on our plate, as well... 😋

Ready to drink. Nice tannins, perfect pairing with homemade Bolognese.

Apr 8th, 2020Great wine. Dark, inky and concentrated. Definately in the Modern Corner of the Brunello-ring. Wonderful tannines, lovely acidic core to keep it palatable, versatile and interesting.
To drink now and in the next 5 years.

Searing acidity and plenty of heft. Needs meat and air.
