La Rinconada Vineyard Pinot Noir

The Pinot was great substitute for cranberry relish with Thanksgiving turkey but I'm in love with that BT bourbon creme

Textured, deep, beautiful fruit

P: lovely sweet fruit. Spicy.

Upon opening this is very ‘simple’ - fruit & oak forward. Cherries & vanilla. Very much like a chilled Rioja Crianza. With time more depth emerges & more complexity.
Still cherries, but also undergrowth. The oakiness fades. The nose gains freshness.
On the palate this (with time) sheds the fleshy cherry and gains freshness & crispiness. Surprisingly sturdy & dry tannins for a Pinot. And quite fleshy.
Not a Burgundy, def not a Spätburgunder, still (after some breathing time) quite. Interesting. .

2021 vintage. Brighter than a supernova. So much balanced fruit + structure. Pure. 7.26.23.

Bright red fruit, crisp, acid driven... on the Burgundian side of Cali Pinot--at least stylistically.

Couldn’t resist! Old world style new world Pinot. Maritime softness.

2018 vintage. Great balance and super drinkable. Delish.

Cranberry compote goodness. Lovely nose.

Red fruit, complex, balance. On second night a bit awkward and hot. Very promising but needs more time.
