Vintage 2020 | recommended by my local wine seller who knows I am fond of curiosities. Stunning bouquet, like walking in a jasmin garden near the sea, minerality also. Lovely taste with vivid acids, good concentration and balance. Aptly described by @Ericsson 👌 | Paired with el Salvadorian pupusas for lunch

Pale yellow. Powerful citrus pith, floral and mineral aromas show very good delineation and spicy lift. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering pliant lemon/lime, green apple and honeysuckle flavors that pick up a refreshingly bitter quality on the back half. Finishes long and precise with resonating floral character and sharp delineation especially for a ripe vintage. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2019)

Outstanding and highly unusual Basque white. Almost slightly effervescent, lots of fun flavors and smells. Delicious.

See prior notes. Still one of my favorite white wines. Fresh and fun where you can’t go wrong.

This is one of my favorite white wines of all time and this vintage is the best I’ve ever tasted. Lemongrass, honey suckle, saline notes, mist, and slightly effervescent. Seaside liquid freshness with low acidity, low alcohol, but medium plus body. From an indigenous grape in Basque Country in Norther Spain, so pleasantly good, a crowd pleaser for sure! Good value to top it all off, hovering around the twenty some dollar range.
