Château Deux Fleuves Vineyards Merlot

My first #coloradowine and it's pretty decent - a good, simple, drinkable #merlot

A little vapid, and the 14.3% abv does it no favors. #delectablebingo #Colorado

Nice ruby in color. Light red fruits. Smooth and juicy. Medium body. Paired well with seared pork chops.

Nice with hints of blueberry and pepper.

Did the tasting at the winery and purchased this bottle. Very nice place and people. All the wines were decent. Nothing to rave about, but overall 80-85 all around

Probably the first Merlot I've enjoyed. Oaky smell with a rich and smooth taste.
