Had a bottle 6 mos ago, just opened another. I just love the Gnarly Dudes, very enjoyable! Deep and dark purple color with aromas of fresh berry fruits with spicy notes. On the palate flavors of rich ripe fruits, plum and blueberry with fine tannins and vivid acidity to complement, with notes of cacao, toasty oak, vanilla and black pepper on a long finish ending with fruit and spice character. Nice!!

Aged for twelve months in French oak (13% new), the 2018 Two Hands ‘Gnarly Dudes’ Shiraz shows lovely kirsch cordial and shades of strawberry puree that come together alongside the smoky and earthy undertones on this exotic nose. The palate is dense, showing off its plush mouthfeel. Ripe red berries collide with minerals and shades of lavender on the palate. The combination of weight and length is awesome here. Drink 2020-2027- 91

This is one big, bold Shiraz. The wine colors up as inky black as night and smells of black fruit, leather and meat. On the palate, it’s a large time as well. Oak is pronounced, but it seems about right considering how brawny this wine drinks. Tannins are somewhat mellow, however, so it goes down easily.
