The recently released (fall ‘23) White Coat ‘21 from Turley is pale straw in the glass with a florally nose marked with pear and honey. It’s light and bursting with melon and apple flavors — an excellent White Coat! Update 1/25, more pear and roundness with another year in bottle.

The nose when cold had a somewhat sweet nose, with hints of honeysuckle and white grape juice that became more floral as it warmed up. The palate was waxy and medium bodied, with a nice dryness, and a pronounced mineraly that actually dried the mouth, with notes of honeycomb, underripe green fruit of some kind, and fresh cut grassy or hay notes.
