Intoxicating aroma. Blackberry, Asian spice and a generous mouthful of pepper follow onto the palate. The finish is long, heat-filled and full of pepper. Strong tannins, yet in proportion and not overpowering. This is well balanced -- massive, yet delicate at the same time. One of the lower-priced wines from Turley, and still nothing short of spectacular.

Cooked plum, fig, dates, red/purple flower, cinnamon, cocoa powder, clove, surprising light not super headed zin. Med plus tannin, 15.5% alcohol but doesn't feel like it.
