Had the 2013 Juvenile open & massive fruit forward style. The 06 Mead was good, but a bit closed. Also got sandwiched between the Bourassa Harmony 3 & JC Cellars iron hill Zin - just didn’t keep up w/ those fantastic wines. Gonna pull a couple older Turley & see if this was an anomaly.

I like napa zins cooler climate..

A nicely mature Turley is such a Joy. Black fruit receding and cacao profile with some darker notes of dry spices and underbrush, with a hint of bitterness consign from dry earth. Delicious
