Super Tuscan blend of Sangiovese (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Merlot (20%). Light ruby color. Totally funky aromas. (Not much fruit at all.) However, the palate is full of cherry fruit with hints of toasted nuts and tobacco. Tannins are quite soft. Decent acidity. Aging quite well. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!

May 21st, 2023Extremely well balanced Super Tuscan, especially considering the 14.5%.
On the light side but gets deeper as it opens and is very good.
Pretty good price ($27) from Vendome.
