Another great Moschofilero from Greece - this time as a dark rosé (or Ramato / “copper” wine). Ekato means 100 in Greek, for 100 days of skin contact. So floral, smooth and delicate. I might have found a new favorite grape...

Wonderful expression of this varietal. Typical floral aromatics but with skin contact and no filtration, yielding a deep salmon color and a bit more body.

Honey, roses, apricot. Rosewater and shea butter. Creamy and flowery. Pure and pretty bouquet.
Pink orange hue. Just the perfect amount of carbonation. Fizzles off with just a bit of flowery sweetness. Beautiful, fun to drink wine that made us both smile as we enjoy our new apartment in downtown Manhattan overlooking the constellation of city lights south to north scattershot across the island that will once again, soon enough, sleep no more.
