Greek red with oodles of savory character: medium to light body, black fruited & dense in color. Low tannins. Bay leaf & casis on palate. Analogous to a cru Beaujolais but minus the granite. This was fun with a chill.

Black cherry flavor with black pepper, deep ruby red color, fairly acidic but has a nice finish, it paired well with a nice steak. It’s the greek answer to the Italian Sangiovese, and its a good one!

Label got me. It’s got silver ferns. Screw top is not very old world Greek, but hey it’s the 21st century. Light-ish purple with plenty of pink-red when the light shines through. Very little aroma. Maybe a bit of red berries. Flavor of tart lingonberry. Hint of nutmeg and such. It’s a lighter, simple red like some low alcohol Grenache and Sangiovese. Could maybe use a bit more somethin-sumtin. Maybe more acid. Or more rocks. Maybe more fern? It’s good, just lacks bite.

Super fruity. Dried plum. Great balance with thick and sweet tannins. Nice linger.
