A profound and ripe nose driven by black and blue fruit. Alcohol is present but not overwhelming. The palate had med complexity but was quite tight with a sturdy structure. Again, chocolate and menthol and a strong acai berry note. Length was not too long. #trombettafamilywines #pinotnoir #sonomacoast #gapscrown #ctbucklinwine

Needs a decant. A gentle coax. Then it's off to the races. Awesome concentrated pinot that is still an intriguing textural challenge...soft and firm acid, lush and sharp fruit. Truly tasty. Will age great.

Happens to be excellent for a winery I have never heard of and for such a young vintage. Great and deep fruity notes with a very smooth finish.
