Trimbach
Cuvée Frédéric Emile Alsace Riesling
Tightly knit and focused. Petrol, yellow apple, citrus, grapefruit pith, stones. Bone dry with a super faint yeastiness on the long finish. Drinking great but in it for the long haul.

Nov 27th, 2020Consistent with my last note here (about a year back). Looks like it hasn't moved much - still as good and as acidic. Definitely one of my favourite 08' rieslings ❤️

1 person found it helpfulNov 19th, 2019Striking out recently. Lots of minerality, but nose is weak. No fruit or characteristic secondary aromas. A bit of confectionary quality, cotton candy and fondant, on day two but still subtle. Decent concentration, medium acid, and nice satiny texture.
Initially believed this was in a dumb phase, but picking up TCA on repeat tasting.
