Good solid wine. A very lovely, food friendly Riesling. Nicely balanced and good acid structure. Nice body nose and finish.

always a stunning bottle, it has lost the acidic verve and has become a bit creamy and a little less lean but still a delight.

always a great bottle, it’s nearly the equal of Clos Ste Hune in this vintage. Their 375th anniversary bottling, it’s spectacular. Nose is intense and layered apricot and citrus, echoing on the palate with classy fruit driven deeply into palate and memory by the well integrated acidity. The wine is thick yet lithe, finishes quite long and clean. Nowhere near a downhill ride, I think it will hold this peak for a very long time.

comparing the regular 01 to the 375eme anniversary 01 from some special plots. Pretty damn close. Maybe a little more density and lift to 375 but, as they age, they move closer. Lots of life left.

my God, this is even better than it was before. The 375 refers to the years Trimbach has existed. I imagine the 2026 version will be a great celebration of 400 years. Lemon, peach, apricot all texturally bound in a wonderful package, still with great acidity and drive, it’s a stunning FE that for me is neck and neck with Clos Ste. Hune in 2001. No rush to open if you have it but it’s great now.

the always great 2001 375eme, as good as 01 Clos Ste Hune, in my opinion.

the always fabulous 2001 375eme. Never fails to impress—except when oxidized. This one is great.
