Dark ruby in color with medium intensity and a red border.
Light on the nose with red currants, metals, spices, cherries, strawberries, oak, vanilla, light paint and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with fat legs.
Smooth on the palate with cherries, currants, blueberries, heavy on the peppercorn and light vanilla.
Spicy finish with round tannins and tart cherries.
Nice everyday wine.

Am I sure, asks Joshua? Well I rated the 2011 a 9.2. But then I was in the hood so who knows what preceded that bottle.
But sandy approved and it’s drinkable. Just not a lot of complexity.
