La Storia Alexander Valley Petite Sirah

Black cherry, raspberry preserves, currant, mocha, vanilla, licorice and oak. Full-bodied and velvety tannins.

Interesting Petit Syrah, opening up quickly and more accessible and fruit forward than what I am used to from this grape.

Decent pizza wine

Rich, full of fruit, noticeable acidity and tannins. Not the best I have had, but perfectly acceptable.

Woody, vanilla bean, black cherry, and fresh cut blackberry, with firm backbone of acidity and grippy tannins.

Solid effort. Balanced and slightly chewy with full fruit aromas supported by just right acidity and tannins.

Dry finish nice tannins

Wow! What an awesome amazing wine! Might be the absolute best Petite Sirah I’ve ever drank! Marvelous nose, very soft tannins and yet enough structure and youth to suggest longer term storage. Rich, jammy purple fruit, wonderful lingering mouthfeel and just lovely texture to hold before swallowing. Definitely a keeper.

Purchased bc I like petite syrahs. Effervescent start. Ok probably wouldn’t purchase again.
