Really delicious. Oak, tannin, structure, all while drinking very smoothly

This is my opinion. You probably won’t agree because I know I dance to another beat than everyone else. That being said this wine seems more french than Napa. Dark fruit and thick. Dry. Probably needs to open up abs will be better.

A definite go to selection. Sneak away date night while serving as “Ride Share Dad” for the teens. Just blessed to have a beautiful coach/life partner sitting across from me. Back to the wine...smooth, jammy, fruit forward, and velvety.

Intense florals and fig on the nose. Medium bodied that translations to a light juicy body. 75% chocolate and anise upfront. Mid palate is surprisingly fruity though, getting some bright nectarine and tart red apple notes. Finally finishes with a little bit of heat, like mild fresh wasabi. It’s a nice linear wine with clean and defined layers.
