The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo is fabulous. Crushed berries, spice, mint, dried rose petal and licorice are beautifully delineated. The purity of the flavors is remarkable. Vineyard sites are Berri (35%), plus non-estate vineyards in Levice, Alta Langa (60% - leased) and Monticello d'Alba, Roero (5% - purchased fruit). The 2021 was vinified and aged entirely in cement, and yet it has plenty of structure. It is a terrific choice for readers on a budget, or even readers not on a budget! (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2022)

Buy plenty of this to drink while you patiently wait for the Barolo. Everything you want from a Langhe Nebbiolo, cherries, evergreen and just enough tannins.

Given some time in the glass the wine opened up displaying red currants, strawberry, cherry, bitumen, baking space and a touch of earthiness. Still tightly wound with chalky tannins, but has such juicy acidity that they're soon forgotten; real pucker and thrust.

Delicious drink - now style neb. Does sound unusual and had some massive benefit from several hours of air. Floral, juicy side of Italian Neb
