On the palate, cherry, cranberry, minerals, and a long finish with hints of light strawberry and floras- some rose perhaps. Tannins strong out of the bottle. Will need to decant for a while and revisit. Wonderful first impression. After several hours decanting, the palate evolved to include strawberry, spice and pepper.

Grippy on open, never really had a great moment after 4 hours open. Typical earth/tar. Fine for the price, disappointing given the reviews.
