Appassimento dry racked - my first of this style. Rich and ripe, thick tannin but far from overdone, lovely savoury black olive, mild spice, nice grip and enough acidity to keep it in balance. Keeps me coming back for more.

Not long but complex and velvety tannin
Dark cherry, pepper, anisette, sundried tomatoes, liquorice, white pepper, coffee, black truffle. Minerally too.

2006 liquor store score. Got that ripasso style dried fruit leather, it's a big black cherry hole w/ spice and under herbal under layering. Yes! Going back to get more of these for $15
