Tried this wine over two days, much better on day two. Medium to deep garnet red. Notes of dark cocoa, spices and berries on the nose. Opened up with some herbal and dried cherries on day two. Medium tannins (5/10) and strong acidity. Earthy palate with sour cherries on the attack of the palate, but leveled out with darker cherries and medium bodied. Dry with a medium plus finish. Solid value for under $15.00. Drink till 2020.

A fair representation of Tempranillo. Nice tannin, moderate acidity, forward fruits. It could have had a little more bite and simultaneously be a little more lively/brighter.
