Ruby to brick. Viscosity medium plus. Nose of crushed cranberries, smoke, diatomaceous earth. Raspberries and Indian spices. Rounded with oak sweetness. Attack is light and viscous, with underripe cranberries and some bitterness. Earthy mid. Finishes with higher acid and really integrated tannins. I suspect this wine is 2-3 years past prime as its fruit has faded. Its structure and depth are still apparent and pay homage to the fantastic 08’ vintage.

More developed on the nose than expected, but full of secondary notes and a little cherry. Nicely balanced in the mouth, pure Pinot fruit.
