A welcome departure from a focus on Bordeaux of late, this GSM from Barossa, despite being in the lower end of their range, is a gorgeous, powerful but quite pure wine with great complexity for this price point. The nose has southern Rhône personality mixed with Barossa weight, with steeped fruit, lavender, white pepper, a touch of iron. It has Port-like density on the palate, with flecks of liquorice and kirsch, is slightly hot even at 14.5% but otherwise a really solid wine!

Raspberry and blackberry flavours with distinct clay pot, mineral and steel notes that emanate into focus after the fruit notes. Silky tannins with some spicy notes. Quite enjoyed this bottle!

Happy Chinese New Year! Glad to be back home😎 Very fruit forward wine with some dried cranberry, prune and raisins as well. Quite a lot minerals like graphite and wet stone. Not overly complex but very silky tannins and easy to drink. Don’t feel any heat at 15% alc. My family enjoyed it a lot! 👏🍷

Very pleasant blackberry notes, gives the ideal sweetness at the end of the taste. If you are looking for a sweetish red, this is recommended 🤗. You wouldn’t need a full flavoured cheese

Deep ruby color. On the nose Grenache drives with red berries, strawberries and red currant jam. When wine opens tye nose turns sweeter and deeper. On palate pronounces acidity, mix or red, blue and black berries, some oak, quite sandy tannins and slight heat on the back palate. Very enjoyable and goes well with our easter lamb prep

2016 vintage. Opened on 12th April 2020. Bought and drank during mco. Very heavy floral fragrance, dark chocolate, low tannins, sweet, bit of smokiness. Medium finishing.
