Waipara Valley Riesling

Very big and rich Riesling. Slightly more fruit driven than I would like. But fine finish and nice texture.

$38 down to $10, absolute steal. Explosive aromas of orange blossom, chamomile, slate and smoke like minerality, melon, white peach and lime. Off dry palate with apricot making an appearance, slightly oily too, but with plenty of acid keeping all things balanced. Strikes similarities with the Alsace for sure

I absolutely love these wines. This riesling is off dry and sooooo good!! We did not do this wine any favors by drinking it out of styrofoam cups outside the Szechwan place and it still was crazy delicious!!

NZ Riesling at a Pinot show? Yes please. Could not of expected a better palate cleanser. Clean, good acid. #pinotpalooza #adelaide
