Wandered into this off the beaten path wine bar this evening, night #2 in beautiful Kyoto, Japan. This is a lovely New Zealand single vineyard Pinot, elegant and graceful. The nose is a knockout, followed by blackberries and earth tracking through to a beaut of a finish. I love my Sonoma Pinots but they’re a little tough to find here. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing. Cheers from afar! 🍷

Feb 24th, 2017This was ridiculously good. Had it with our Chinese New Year dinner of chicken, duck, seafood, etc and it went well with everything. Full bodied, well integrated, just really rich and wonderful. Might be the best NZ wine I've ever had.
