Poggio al Tufo Vermentino
Illusion of sweetness, masked by a round citrus finish. Very enjoyable on the palate. Quite an earthy bouquet, though... could be misinterpreted for smelly feet.

Feb 25th, 2015Toscana IGT White 2013, 12.5%.
Bottle tasted in October 2014.
Vermentino is becoming the most used white grape in Maremma and this, thankfully, is well made wine (as opposed to many boring Vermentino found all over Tuscany).
Good acidity and persistence, better if drank quite cold.
